About Blue Byron Books

Blue Byron Books is a modern publishing collective redefining American culture and ideas by amplifying bold, innovative, and imaginative voices.

We are a technology-forward, digitally native publishing house built by Millennials and Gen Z — creating books, ideas, and cultural projects that matter now. We operate as a collaborative collective of writers, designers, editors, and creators working together to build something meaningful and lasting.

The Opportunity

We’re building a Storytelling Team — not just a marketing team.

We use the word storytelling intentionally. This isn’t about generic promotion. It’s about telling the story of what we’re building — a collective of digital natives collaborating under a shared vision to create agency in their futures.

You’ll help bring our books, creators, and ideas to life across platforms — and build real energy around them.

The duration of this internship is from September through December 31st, 2026

Team sessions are weekly

What You’ll Do

  • Create and post content across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, and Podcast
  • Develop short-form and medium-form content that captures attention and drives interest
  • Tell the story behind our books, creators, and creative process
  • Experiment with formats, trends, and storytelling styles
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and execute content strategies
  • Help build momentum and cultural presence around Blue Byron Books

What We’re Looking For

  • Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
  • Understanding of internet culture, trends, and storytelling formats
  • Interest in books, creativity, and culture (BookTok, BookTube familiarity is a plus)
  • Ability to take initiative and create without constant direction
  • Creative instincts — know what feels engaging and worth sharing

We’re not looking for perfection — we’re looking for energy, taste, and execution.

How We Work

  • Remote, collaborative, and fast-moving
  • We give green lights — not micromanagement
  • We value initiative, clarity, and accountability
  • We encourage experimentation and new formats
  • You’ll have real ownership — not just tasks

Why Join the Storytelling Team

  • Be part of a growing publishing house and cultural movement
  • Build real-world experience in content, media, and storytelling
  • Help shape how books are discovered in the digital age
  • Work alongside creators, writers, and designers
  • Turn ideas into visible, shareable, living content

Who This Is For

This is ideal for a student or creator who:

  • Already spends time on TikTok/Instagram/YouTube
  • Has ideas for content constantly
  • Wants to build something meaningful — not just post for the sake of posting
  • Is excited by the idea of shaping culture through storytelling
