As Camp OTX’s online presence continues to grow, we’re constantly seeking new and creative ways to connect with the Camp OTX community. Our Social Media Interns play a key role in sharing the unique Camp OTX experience with campers, families, and staff.
In this role, you’ll develop valuable skills in marketing, social media content creation, strategic planning, and project management, all while working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Capture daily activities, special events, and candid moments, ensuring all key moments of the camp experience visually told across Camp OTX’s media platform in an engaging, professional manner.
- Utilize Lightroom to refine images, adjust lighting, and ensure each photo meets professional standards.
- Work alongside videographers and photographers to produce high-quality content that creatively brings the story of camp to life.
- Contribute to the OTX Marketing Team’s creative vision by sharing innovative ideas on media strategies, creative direction, brand messaging, and audience engagement.
Camp OTX offers internship credit for a variety of majors, providing practical, real-world experience. Ideal candidates should have experience or skills in photography, social media management, marketing, and media design (Photoshop/Adobe Premiere), as well as knowledge of social media platforms and tools.
This internship is a critical part of enhancing the experience for campers, families, and staff. You’ll gain hands-on media and marketing experience in a fun, kid-focused Christian environment. The work is challenging and the hours can be long, but the job is incredibly rewarding!
Responsibilities include teaching and supervising a wide range of craft classes, maintaining craft and retail spaces, assisting with inventory and logistics, and managing registers for store and craft purchases.
